Supporting workplace mental health and suicide prevention with Alice Hendy MBE, founder of R;pple
An impactful and heartfelt webinar with Alice Hendy MBE, the founder of R;pple, a revolutionary digital intervention designed to save lives from suicide. Alice’s journey is deeply personal and profoundly inspiring. In November 2020, she tragically lost her brother, Josh, to suicide at the age of 21. Josh’s story is not unique; globally, an alarming 1.2 million online searches linked to suicide occur each month.
Determined to make a difference, Alice created R;pple, a digital tool that intercepts harmful online searches related to self-harm and suicide, providing crucial mental health resources at the moment they are needed most. With over 2 million downloads worldwide, R;pple continues to save lives daily.
Alice’s story resonates with anyone who has faced mental health challenges, been affected by suicide, or cares deeply about the safety of others. Her presentations are both informative and powerful, driven by the passion that only lived experience can bring. This webinar is a must-attend for all. Businesses, educational bodies, authorities, health services, sports clubs, event organisers and leading media invite her to address topics such as suicide prevention, mental health in the workplace, removing stigma and more.

Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: New Duty for Employers
From 26th October 2024, a new law called the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 will change the Equality Act 2010 in two important ways:
Preventing Sexual Harassment: Employers will now have a legal duty to take reasonable steps to stop sexual harassment at work. This means they must actively work to prevent it, rather than just dealing with it after it happens.
Increased Compensation: If an employer fails to meet this new duty, employment tribunals can increase the compensation for sexual harassment victims by up to 25%.
This new law shifts the focus from just addressing sexual harassment after it occurs to actively preventing it, ensuring a safer workplace for everyone.

Secrets to Successful Auditing
What audits do we need to do? We often see this question on practice manager forums and the majority of answers are usually incorrect. Many practices ask the wrong team members to perform audits, misunderstand the difference between an audit and a log and aren’t sure how perform an audit or what you’re supposed to do afterwards. In this insightful webinar, Alex O’Neill, our Director of Regulatory and Professional Services, will explore essential terms and outline the key steps to auditing properly, highlighting who should perform audits, where and why practices have failed and what you need to do to both meet the requirements and create a paper trail that will impress inspectors.
