Leeds Digital Festival is a collaborative festival celebrating digital culture in all its forms over a two week period each year. As part of of it’s annual programme each year, the Festival includes an award session to celebrate businesses across the Yorkshire region across a number of categories.
Iatro won the ‘Start-Up of the year’ award, to recognise the success the business has achieved since its founding in early 2020.
Since launch, Iatro have successfully launched two products into the NHS – a digital gateway for patients to access online GP practice services, and a remote review tool to support long term condition management. T
he digital gateway, Practice365, has already achieved over 800 GP practice sales in its first year of launch. The second product, OneContact, has been procured to support COVID management across over 280 practices in North East London.
Iatro’s founder and CEO, Thomas Porteus commented ‘I’m delighted to win this award. Leeds has a brilliant digital scene with lots of great companies, so it means a lot to get this recognition. We’ve had a good start to the business, but we’ve got lots of exciting things in the pipeline, and I’m excited to grow the business further over the next year and beyond.”
