- Know how to raise the fire alarm and the actions to take upon hearing it.
- Explain the significant findings of relevant fire risk assessments.
- Practise and promote fire prevention effectively.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic fire safety and local fire safety protocols, including staff responsibilities during a fire incident.
- Take the right action if a fire breaks out or smoke is detected.
- Understand the importance of being familiar with evacuation procedures and associated escape routes.
