This is the generic inbox in the practice all form submissions with come through to – don’t worry you can change it later, or set more specific email addresses for different forms.
What happens next
On your go-live day we will request transfer of your domain from your current provider, and transfer the domain to ourselves. There is no downtime for patients.
This process is different depending on your domain suffix:
.NHS.UK
– We will request the change ourselves directly from NHS England. They usual complete this the same day we ask, but may ask you to confirm the request by email.
.CO.UK or .ORG.UK
– We’ll request your current supplier to update the domains ‘IPS TAG’ to ours on the day of go live. Some suppliers won’t take the request directly from our team, so we may ask you to do it.
.COM or .ORG
– We’ll request your current supplier to unlock the domain and provide us with a ‘EPP Code’. .COM domains can take up to 7 days to transfer.
