This course is presented as a 45-minute webinar by Dr Sarah Caney. Throughout this webinar, you will learn about hyperthyroidism in cats, including symptoms, how a diagnosis is made, treatment and long-term effects.

The first half of the webinar explains what hyperthyroidism is, which cats are most vulnerable to developing this condition, clues of illness that a carer may spot and how vets go about confirming a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism.

The second half of the webinar outlines the four different treatment options for management of hyperthyroidism and what a carer might expect in terms of the long-term outlook for their cat.
