BVRA Foundation Course (BVRA Members)

Course Details

The BVRA Foundation Course is an online course which covers the basic information any receptionist working in practice needs to know. It provides core tuition for new starters who have had no previous experience of working in veterinary practice, and also as a refresher to those who have been working in practice for some time. There is no time limit on completing the course, and once completed the learner can go back over the content as often as they wish.

The Foundation Course is available in Small Animal, Equine, Farm Animal and Referral versions and has been created by industry experts. It covers a wide variety of subjects including; an overview of the veterinary profession and terminology, communication skills, team working, practice operations, preventative health care and supporting clinical care.

This course comprises six modules totalling 5-10 hours of CPD. On completion of the Foundation Course the delegate can download a CPD certificate of completion.
