What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed certification that ensures organisations have the essential safeguards in place to protect against a wide range of the most common cyber-attacks. By reducing vulnerability, it helps companies strengthen their defences and ensure the highest levels of cybersecurity.
There are two levels of certification:
Cyber Essentials: A self-assessment that ensures core protections are in place to defend the most common types of cyber-attacks.
Cyber Essentials Plus: The highest level of certification, covering everything in Cyber Essentials, with the addition of a technical assessment from a qualified assessor. This involves an internal vulnerability scan ensuring the protections against common cyber-attacks are correctly in place.
Our recent recertification reinforces our ongoing efforts and provides assurance to our customers that we maintain strong safeguards against cyber risks.
