Agilio Software welcomes Arjun Puri to the Dental Clinical Board
Agilio Software is delighted to announce the latest addition to its esteemed Dental Clinical Board, Dr Arjun Puri.
With a background in international dental practice and a deep commitment to supporting globally trained professionals, Dr Puri’s arrival marks a significant milestone for Agilio’s mission to help enhance dental care across the UK.
Arjun qualified from the prestigious Universidad Europea de Madrid in Spain in 2021. Following his graduation, he returned to the UK, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated dentist. Notably, Arjun underwent a privately funded Foundation Training programme, tailored specifically for non-UK qualified dentists.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Arjun has been a proactive advocate for internationally trained dentists. His initiatives have focused on providing guidance and support to peers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed in the UK dental landscape. As someone who has personally steered through the transition to UK dentistry, Arjun brings a wealth of practical insights and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by international practitioners.
Currently, Arjun is advancing his professional career in the USA as a Resident Dentist, while continuing his advocacy work. His commitment to improving the transition process for internationally trained dentists aligns perfectly with Agilio Software’s goals of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all dental professionals.
Sharing his excitement about joining Agilio Software, Arjun said: ‘I advocate for international dentists to work in whichever country they want. For those who choose to work in the UK, it can be tricky to navigate the world of dentistry by yourself.
‘Personally, I had a great experience with transitioning to the UK after graduating and I want other dentists to have the same experience I did. With the right support and structure, this transition to UK dentistry can be seamless. As a non-UK qualified dentist myself, I understand the various challenges they will encounter.
