Agilio Software and The BVRA announce strategic partnership to support veterinary receptionists
Agilio Software, a leading provider of integrated veterinary software, and CPD solutions, has partnered with the British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA), the UK’s leading organisation dedicated to championing the essential role of veterinary receptionists. This strategic collaboration marks a significant step forward in empowering veterinary receptionists with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in their roles.
As part of this partnership, veterinary practices subscribing to Agilio’s iLearn platform for online training and CPD will now receive complimentary BVRA practice membership, unlocking access to a wealth of resources, training, and professional development opportunities. iLearn features a comprehensive library of over 100 non-clinical CPD and training courses, developed by industry experts to help all members of the practice team build skills, boost confidence, and excel in their roles.
The partnership comes at a critical time. According to the BVRA’s recent Annual Veterinary Receptionist Survey, over half of veterinary receptionists reported a lack of access to relevant CPD, with 55% expressing a desire for more CPD opportunities*. Lack of time and lack of money were also cited as significant barriers. Professional development is key to job satisfaction and long-term career ambitions. Without adequate support, the profession risks losing these highly skilled team members.
Managing Director at Agilio Software, Emma Barnes, commented, “Veterinary receptionists are the backbone of every practice, playing a vital role in the smooth running of day-to-day operations and client care. Despite this, access to high-quality CPD can often be limited due to tight budgets and other constraints. That’s why we’ve made iLearn a cost-effective solution for practices, ensuring veterinary receptionists can access essential training without significant financial barriers. The partnership with the BVRA reflects our shared commitment to supporting reception teams and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.”
Kay Watson, Founder and CEO of The BVRA added, “Partnering with Agilio Software enables us to expand the support available to veterinary receptionists. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for them to access the resources and training they deserve, helping to provide a more skilled, confident, and valued workforce at the heart of every veterinary practice.”
