Agilio and CKS

Starting in 2012, Agilio was awarded the contract to provide clinical content, in collaboration with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the new Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) service available through the NICE website.

Agilio Software was re-awarded the contract in 2017, and again in 2023, resulting in a long-running partnership with NICE.

The content within CKS is the intellectual property of Agilio.

  • Who can access CKS without a commercial licence?

    CKS can be accessed freely by employees of the NHS, solely to benefit of the NHS and patients. CKS can also be accessed by students for their own educational purposes.

  • Who requires a commercial licence?

    If you are accessing CKS to support a company, business, and any other private enterprise that are not part of the NHS, which include universities, a commercial or institutional licence is required. Further information on permitted use can be found in the NICE CKS End User Licence Agreement which can be found here.
