Agilio Software welcomes two new members to the Dental Clinical Board

Agilio Software is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Manish Prasad and Dr Kaushik Paul to its Dental Clinical Board. Both bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the enhancement of clinical standards and the professional growth of dental practitioners across the UK.

Dr Manish Prasad has been an influential leader in the dental field for over two decades. He graduated in 1998 and has served as a Clinical Director at mydentist for more than 10 years, offering support and leadership across multiple practices. His commitment to high clinical standards and quality patient care has made him a trusted figure within dentistry. Manish is particularly passionate about mentoring, having built strong relationships with NHS England, Deaneries and Local Professional Networks. In addition, he is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry, an accredited mentor with Health Education England, plus he serves on the GDC’s panel as a Clinical Advisor and Expert Witness.

Manish expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating:

‘I am really excited to have been given the opportunity to join the Agilio Dental Clinical Board, the UK’s largest healthcare e-learning platform. I am enthusiastic about supporting the career and personal development of clinical colleagues, and this means that I am really looking forward to my new role. I hope to be able to contribute while working alongside other esteemed colleagues on the clinical board. I would like to support clinicians and the wider team in tailoring their learning needs through continued professional development that not only meets ECPD compliance but is also interesting and relevant to them.’

Dr Kaushik Paul, also a Clinical Director at mydentist, brings over 14 years of experience in general dental practice and a strong background in oral surgery and education. He holds multiple postgraduate qualifications in sedation and oral surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of England and Edinburgh, as well as the College of General Dentistry. He provides Tier 2 Oral Surgery services and works part-time as a Specialty Dentist at Birmingham Dental Hospital. Since 2008, he has been an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Kaushik is actively involved in teaching, assessments and training of dental professionals, and serves on the Advisory Board for the MFDS examination with the RCS Edinburgh, among other responsibilities.

Kaushik shared his excitement about the appointment:

‘Having been one of the early adopters of blended learning and a user of Agilio’s e-learning platform as a GDP, I am very pleased to be offered an opportunity to join the Agilio Dental Clinical Board. I am keen to use my role to contribute to the development of high-quality learning and training resources that will make a material difference in the careers and personal development of colleagues. I hope to work collaboratively with my colleagues on the clinical board to support clinicians and the wider team to achieve their learning needs through continued professional development and develop easy-to-use tools to support mentoring and ongoing training.’
