Job purpose:
To assist the Site Sales & Operations Manager in all activities relating
to technical sales / support activities. Both external to clients and
internal across the division.

You will be responsible for:

Specific Duties
• Divisional Quotes & Sales – Including cold calling and follow up of
quotations.
• Divisional Technical Support – TQSoft, IPReports, Securilog, VE
Website over the telephone and remote access
• Support of internal business software systems across the division, i.e.
Netsuite, webshop, etc.

General Responsibilities
• Have due regard for the job descriptions, responsibilities, and authority
of other staff.
• Establish effective, professional, positive working relationships with
colleagues.
• Be responsible for personal health and safety at work
• To make Line Manager aware of personal, professional development
needs.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
• Handle confidential information with due care and maintain
confidentiality

The skills and experience which we are looking for in our Technical
Sales & Support Officer (Hospital) are:

Essential
• Competent in Windows, Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Competent in installing software and new devices in Windows
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues by following logical procedures
• Comfortable with learning new software applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to develop new skills
• Approachable, trustworthy, and reliable
• Can work as part of a team or as an individual
• Self-motivated
• Ability to manage oneself

Desirable
• Any coding (especially Visual Basic) or HTML skills an advantage but
not a requirement
• Prior knowledge of decontamination validation standards and guidance
within hospitals and private healthcare, however training will be
provided.
• Prior experience of sales and support via telephone assisting and
growing relationships with clients, however training will be provided.
• Prior knowledge of IPReports, TQSoft and Securilog, however training
will be provided.


Additional Information

This is a full-time role based in Sheffield. Hybrid after training and
completion of probationary period.

Job type: Full-time, permanent, some out of hour’s work may be
required from time to time.
