Job purpose:
To lead and support the regulatory registration processes across key
healthcare regulators, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
This role includes assisting the Head of Registration and Regulatory
Services (HRRS) in the effective day -to-day management of the
registrations department, acting as the first point of contact for
registration advisors, and providing expert guidance on co mplex
registration queries.
The Registrations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency,
maintaining compliance, and offering hands -on support to ensure
smooth progression of all registration cases.

You will be responsible for:
Leadership & Team Development
• Assist in the leadership, mentoring, and development of
Registrations Advisors, ensuring they are equipped to handle their
daily responsibilities effectively.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex registration cases and
queries, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
• Cross-department Collaboration: Build and maintain strong
working relationships with key departments across the
organization. Liaise with department heads in the absence of the
Head of Registration and Regulatory Services (HRRS) to ensure
continuity of operations.
• Ensure the ongoing satisfaction of both internal teams and
external stakeholders, including DCME and Agilio partners,
through consistent, high-quality support.

Member Support & Regulatory Guidance

• Provide expert guidance to members on registration requirements,
both for new healthcare practices and modifications to existing
ones.
• Manage the preparation, review, and timely submission of all CQC
registration applications, including new registrations, variations,
and cancellations.
• Support members throughout the regulatory assessment process,
acting as a liaison with inspectors when necessary to ensure
smooth communication and outcomes.

Compliance & Regulatory Relations
• Ensure that all statutory notifications and reporting requirements
are fulfilled in compliance with regulatory standards, specifically
those related to CQC.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with relevant
regulatory bodies, fostering collaboration and compliance
throughout the registration process.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to CQC
registration and compliance to safeguard the organization and its
stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date, documented registration procedures that
align with internal standards, risk management, and business
goals to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement (Occasional)
• Prepare and present internal reports on key performance
indicators (KPIs) to DCME and Agilio leadership, providing
actionable insights as needed.
• Analyse trends in CQC inspections, ratings, and feedback to
identify opportunities for service enhancement and improve
overall registration performance

The skills and experience which we are looking for in our
Registrations Manager (DCME) – Dental are:

Essential
Experience in Regulatory Registration Processes
· Proven track record of managing healthcare registration processes
· Solid understanding of statutory registration requirements and
timelines.

Team Leadership and Line Management
· Experience in leading, mentoring, and supporting a team
· Ability to manage team performance, provide feedback, and handle
escalation points

Knowledge of Healthcare Regulation
· In-depth knowledge of UK healthcare regulatory bodies
· Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance to cases

Strong Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Skills
· Capable of liaising confidently with inspectors, internal teams, and
external stakeholders
· Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders

Analytical and Organisational Skills
· Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, assess trends, and
identify risk
· Skilled in preparing reports and procedural documentation

Customer Service Orientation
· Demonstrated commitment to high -quality service delivery to both
internal and external clients

IT Literacy
· Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office,
Hubspot)

 

Desirable

Experience Working with Multiple Regulators
· Knowledge beyond CQC, such as HIW, HIS and RQIA

Project Management Skills
· Experience leading or supporting regulatory or operational projects to
improve efficiency

Process Improvement Experience
· Demonstrated success in optimising workflows, automating tasks, or
enhancing team performance

Additional Information
This is a Full-time role which is flexible with location, either Office,
Hybrid or Remote.

Job type: Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term with a possibility of
permanent.
