Job purpose:
Production of timely and accurate financial information to enable the
stakeholders of the business to make financial decisions and monitor
the business. Ensure that all financial legal requirements are met.
You will be responsible for:
• Day to day management/review of the finance systems of your
division. Ensuring the entries posted by central services are
correct.
• Production of the monthly management accounts for your division.
Including but not limited to accruals, prepayments, depreciation,
any other correcting journals
• Production of the monthly account pack which included analytical
review of the results of the companies within your division,
balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet codes
identifying differences and any areas for further review. Ready
for review by the Head of Group Reporting.
• Support the Group Management Accountant, when required with
the Group consolidation
• Be responsible for the short-term cash flow forecast for the
companies within your company
• Support the Group Management Accountant, when required with
the Group consolidation cashflow.
• Maintain and improve the financial systems to streamline monthly
reporting
• Identify areas for improvement in the internal control environment
and propose plans to develop these areas
• Support members of the wider Agilio Group finance team.
• Support the Divisional MD, Director of FP&A and any other team
member with any questions on your divisions financial results.
• Prepare the annual statutory accounts for your divisional
companies, including the account pack for consolidation.
• Manage the audit and tax compliance for your divisional
companies. Including VAT return and Corporation Tax packs.
• Support the annual budget process and any re-forecasting activity
• Ad hoc projects
The skills and experience which we are looking for in Interim
Management Accountant are:
Essential
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or working towards final exams
• Attention to detail
• Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Good communicator
• Teamwork
• Time management
Desirable
• Experience Netsuite
• Production of VAT returns and Statutory accounts
