Welsh COVID-19 Firebreak

The Welsh government has announced a two week “firebreak” which involves several restrictive measures in an attempt to control the spread of COVID-19 from 6pm this Friday—this includes avoiding unnecessary travel. However, residents of Wales will still be permitted to attend local health services, but are being encouraged to follow any guidance from local healthcare providers and phone ahead before attending.

Agilio’s reading of this exception does not indicate any changes to dental services in Wales. However, we will keep members abreast of any developments or statements from the CDO in Wales as to the impact of this “firebreak” on practices in Wales.
